"Now, I've just fallen in love with this track at the start of 2025, and really the original should have been the ENT, but I'm glad to say that we have a brand new remix of it. So not only is the remix an ENT, but the former is really an honourable ENT as well. It comes from a new London-based producer called Everything Is Art. He wrote this, and then thought, who could sing it? And he sent it to WhoMadeWho. They didn't really know who he was, but they loved what he'd done, and they put a vocal on it. And then, even better, for the remix, he thought, I'd love Samm to remix it. And he said, Yes. So this week's ENT, 'All The Love', the Samm remix. I think this is going to play all through the summer. Turn it up."

  • Radio 1’s Residency will continue on the network and Radio 1 Dance with a brand new DJ line-up of Tita Lau, Josh Baker, Girls Don’t Sync and K Motionz. (BBC) Rudimental will host a special one-off show. 
  • Electronic music and networking event Brighton Music Conference revealed new venues for the conference programme, the return of the ‘A&R Sessions’ and the official BMC Welcome Party. (RotD) 
  • Universal Music Group’s acquisition of Downtown Music faces EU scrutiny following a referral request from an EU member state, as first reported last week. Impala has been encouraging national competition authorities and the EU to scrutinise the deal. (RotD) 
  • Labour is said to be plotting to delay new AI copyright laws by up to four years. (Mail) The Government reportedly wants to conduct a full 'technical review' of its proposal to give Big Tech firms an exemption from copyright law when training their AI models.

  • Peloton has partnered with Armada Music to bring high-energy live DJ workouts to Peloton Studios New York this April. (EDM)

  • Beatport has refined its genre classification by introducing Ambient/Experimental as a new standalone genre and reclassifying Downtempo as its own category, separate from Organic House. (RotD) 
  • After finally achieving profitability, Spotify wants to be a healthy alternative to 'doom scrolling'. (NYTimes) It has laid out its plans to boost its advertising business with several new initiatives to make ad-buying easier, including an AI tool for brands in the US and Canada to generate their scripts and voice-overs.
  • Music promotion platform Groover adds charts and SoundCloud integration. (MusicAlly) 
  • YouTube is testing a new 'Watch With' feature that allows creators to react and commentate over live event streams, starting with Coachella festival. (Verge) 
  • TikTok is testing a new TikTok for Artists platform to create campaigns for their upcoming releases and promote them on the social network. They can launch engagement and monetisation campaigns, such as album campaigns to drive pre-saves on Spotify and Apple Music or exclusive merch drops. The platform is being tested in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Indonesia. (TechCrunch)  
  • Donald Trump said he will sign an executive order to extend the TikTok ban deadline, punting the deadline an extra 75 days. (Guardian) A ByteDance spokesperson said "ByteDance has been in discussion with the US Government regarding a potential solution for TikTok US. An agreement has not been executed. There are key matters to be resolved. Any agreement will be subject to approval under Chinese law". (TikTok)
