Comment
"It comes from electronic duo Röyksopp, who have released their new album, 'True Electric', featuring a collection of 19 studio recordings inspired by their True Electric tour in 2023. It includes self-reworked versions of original songs taken from their catalogue. DJ Tennis has provided a new spin on the True Electric version of their 2005 classic, 'What Else Is There?' with the help of Fever Ray. Now, this original is 20 years old this year, and this is the first of a run of remixes with more to follow from the likes of Jennifer Loveless, Ivory, and Notre Dame. This week's ENT is 'What Else Is There?', the DJ Tennis remix of Röyksopp featuring Fever Ray, the 2025 version."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 33.15 here.
