"Each and every week when we do this, the ENT is all about digging deep and finding a really, really special record, a record that stands out, a record that I think we're still going to be talking about at the end of the year, a record that represents what's going on musically, a record that is original, a record that's really on point. Sometimes it's completely out of the box. Sometimes it's just one of those records that everyone's playing because it is so good, and that's kind of what's happening with this record. Two of the artists involved delivered another really original record last year that we love, called 'Me Gusta'. I've got to say they've done it again. This is spellbinding. Can't stop playing it in my club sets this week's ENT is, 'If You Ever' from Konvex, Meloko, and Garla."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 33.23 here
