Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun

Comment
This is yet another track that I’ve been able to play out live during my DJ sets for some months now. The boys wanted me to keep it off the radio until I got full approval on it being released, it’s forthcoming on Crosstown Rebels which means it's another Essential New Tune for the Damian Lazarus label. It comes from a couple of guys who have rapidly been becoming the breakout stars in Ibiza this year, they hold down a residency at Heart Ibiza on Sunday nights. They come from New York city originally, they are Bedouin and I think this is going to blow you away… a brand new interpretation of Pink Floyd’s Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, this week's Essential New Tune.
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 32:40 mins here.
