I’ve dug deep to come up with this one; it’s a new project put together by Illangelo and Billy Walsh, renowned for their work with top level songwriters such as Drake, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys. The pair have now turned their hand to something a bit grittier, something a bit houseier, something a bit different - which also has a cool looking video up online on YouTube. I couldn’t stop listening to this over the last few days, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The duo are called Somewhere Else and the track is Uh Huh.
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 33:00 mins here.
