"Quite often I get handed tunes and I’m not allowed to play them on the radio for all sorts of reasons, like when they go up on streaming services and when they get released. We have had this in the record box for a couple of months now, it’s been absolutely smashing it and am so happy I can play it on the radio at last. This week’s ENT is an amazing revival, courtesy of Camelphat, of the classic Dirty Vegas tune Days Gone By."

Business
  • Sony is to bring together the recorded music and music publishing businesses to form Sony Music Group. (Billboard) Sony Music Entertainment CEO Rob Stringer will run Sony Music Group as well as Sony Music Entertainment. Jon Platt, Chairman and CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, will report to Stringer. Sony Music Entertainment Japan will remain a separate entity. The change is effective 1 August.
