Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Positive (Marcus Vogel and Adam Port Remix)

out now
Comment
Now, this just came in as I was preparing the show and I'll be honest with you we had a bit of a reshuffle because we were so impressed. It comes from Hot Chip and it's a brand new remix from an album that they originally put out in 2019 called A Bath Full Of Ecstasy, the track is called Positive. I think when this came out last year it kind of got missed but lyrically it seems very appropriate for 2020 and the year of Covid. The remix comes courtesy of Marcus Vogel and one of the stars of a really impressive Essential Mix, Mr Adam Port.
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 31.50 here.
