out now
Comment
"It's going to go to 'Take Care Of Business', a brand new Solomun remix of Nina Simone. It's out now on Verve Records, the legendary jazz label. It's the first instalment in the label's year-long Nina Simone series, which coincides with what would have been Simone's 93rd birthday. Solomun has said there are very few artists like Nina Simone who truly transcend time. This remix now comes from a place of deep respect for her work and voice, and he has really delivered. This week's ENT is Solomun's remix of  'Take Care Of Business'."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and forward to 36.13 here.
