Pete Tong's Essential New Tune
Santa Maria
Us Two
No Art
out now
Comment
"Originally a duo, Us Two is now the solo project of a young man called Grant, pushing the boundaries of a signature style defined by rolling bass lines, hypnotic percussion, and tension building moments that ignite dance floors, which is exactly what this track has been doing. I've been playing it for the last month or so. You might have seen it crop up on socials during ANOTR sets as well, and there's good reason for that, because it's on their label, No Art. It is an absolute club weapon. There is no question about it. This week's ENT, 'Santa Maria' from Us Two."
This week's featured Essential New Tune was featured in last week’s Friday show on BBC Radio 1. Listen again and fast forward to 31.28 here
